Barry Wirt recently completed a bath/shower remodel at our Port Aransas condo.  We are very pleased with the result.  Barry really knows his trade. We contracted with Barry to perform a primary bathroom upgrade in our rental property in the fall of 2025. He began the project almost immediately after signing the contract. The job was completed within three weeks, which can be challenging in a rental condo circumstance. He was very communicative throughout the project, and always responded very quickly when we would send him a question or comment. We live out of town and he sent photos and progress reports almost daily. He came highly recommended and we will definitely consider using him again in the future if the need arises. Thank you to Triton Building Group for installing new sink/counter top areas in our beloved 1972 Philip Johnson designed building. We know the job could only be handled by the highest caliber of professional and we believe we received that in Triton. The countertops look incredible, clean, and feel sturdy. My experience was awesome! I started with one project but when I saw Barry’s work ethic, I was over whelmed! I added so many projects and his work was perfection. We had our Condo kitchen renovated by Barry. He was great to work with and helped me figure out what I really wanted to do. The entire process was painless from start to finish. We worked with Barry this year to refurbish what we are planning to be our "forever home" on Padre Island, and if it were possible to give him six stars we would. We purchased our property in April 2022, from the original owner who owned it since 1982, and while the property was well cared for, it was, in our opinion, in need of a refresh. We met with Barry a number of times to consider and discuss options for a complete kitchen redesign, as well us updates to bathrooms and laundry spaces. He prepared beautiful renderings and we finally landed on a layout that maximized the available space, and eliminated what we felt was some wasted floor footage. He also works with outstanding partners for flooring, cabinetry and mill-work, and electrical. We spent an entire afternoon with Barry and his cabinet maker, looking at options and actually watched as the cabinet maker cut and stained / painted wood options for us, until we landed on exactly what we wanted. One of the options we landed on was live edge walnut slab closet doors and barn style doors on rails - unbelievable. His flooring partner spent another afternoon with us looking over options, and his electrician spent the better part of a day with us walking our space, and discussing switch / outlet / lighting locations. Again, both made very constructive and insightful suggestions. Barry also continually evaluates and "re-thinks" design considerations through a project. Our favorite conversations with him usually started with him saying "I know you were considering this, but what if we were to .. " And his instincts were always great. We've built and renovated several properties over the years, and learned, sometimes the hard way, that some contractors can be "All Show and No Go". Barry excels at what he does for three reasons: (1) he will be in continual communication with you, and takes the time to explain what is being done and why; (2) he is completely transparent on his pricing, and will never hand you an unpleasant surprise; and (3) he does what he says he will do, when he says he will do it, and and is scrupulously honest. He simply shows up, which, sadly, is an increasingly rare thing these days .. We couldn't be happier with our home and the work Barry did!

What can I say but awesome. Barry was a joy to work with and kept all his promises. He was a true professional! Get this, he came in under our budget and worked with us in the scheduling, working all hours to keep from having to disturb our dental patients. Thank you Barry for everything!
